Unrequited

Happy valentines day everyone!

I wanted to go for a different theme for valentines day than sweethearts and heartbroken. So I doodled up the less known Greek tale of Pan and Syrinx.

So Syrinx was this nymph babe and follower of Artemis, the "oh my gods men are so STUPID" kind of cult. Well Pan, Greek god of the shepherds, was all like "You so beautiful babe!" and she would have none of that. Well Pan chased Syrinx all the way to the river screaming"LOVE ME!" and she was like "NO WAY." Her father, that river's god, thought of the perfect idea to turn her into a clump of reeds. So Pan picked her and turned her into the first reed pipes.
